A member of a robbery gang that robs unsuspecting victims with motorcycles has been set ablaze in Anambra state.
Punch reported that the incident occurred at Afor Nkpor market in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect was said to have pointed a gun at some people in the market and ordered them to surrender all they had.
Passers-by were attracted to the scene after one of the victims raised an alarm of being robbed.
Seeing that people have been alerted, the robbers tried to flee from the scene but were stopped by youths.
The suspect was immediately set ablaze by the angry mob with his motorcycle and gun after on-lookers identified him as one of a three-man armed robbery gang that escaped death by the whiskers when two of his accomplices were earlier set ablaze at the Ogidi building materials market, last week.
The suspect who joined a gang to rob some victims at Ogidi area, escaped with the motorcycle.
The same motorcycle he escaped with was the one he also attempted to use in robbing again before he met his waterloo.
