Impeachment Saga: We Want No Inducement To Carry out Our Duties, Ondo Lawmakers Reply Deputy Governor

As plots to question the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, thickens, members of the State Home of Meeting have stated they wanted no “inducement” to train their constitutional obligations. 

The lawmakers acknowledged this on Wednesday whereas denying an allegation of accumulating N10m every as a bribe from Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to question Ajayi.

In a press release issued by the Meeting Spokesperson, Mr Akogun Olugbenga Omole, the lawmakers stated the allegation smacks of naivety on the a part of the deputy governor and supposed to tug the integrity of the Meeting members within the mud. 

“We don’t want any inducement of no matter type from any quarters to train our constitutional obligations as elected representatives of the individuals.

“It’s on this premise that we members of the Ondo State Home of Meeting state unequivocally that that is nothing however a blatant lie and politics taken too far, least anticipated of the calibre of the deputy governor of the sunshine state.” 

On Tuesday, the deputy governor had raised the alarm over plans to question him by the members of the Meeting underneath the directions of Akeredolu.
