Gunmen have killed, Godwin Njoku, a youth leader in Umuebule Community, Etche Local Government Area, Rivers State.
Njoku, popularly called Biggy, who was also the immediate past youth president of the community, was reportedly murdered on Thursday morning.
He was killed in the same community where the police arrested an alleged serial kidnapper, Ndubuisi Anthony, who took the lives of his victims and threw their remains into his septic tank.
It was gathered that the killing of Biggy a few days after the arrest of Anthony threw the community into panic.

Though the motive behind the murder was unknown, a source, who spoke in confidence, claimed he was assassinated.
He linked the incident to a land tussles and other communal issues involving the victim in the area.
He decried the absence of security men and good road network in the area saying that they were responsible for the prevalence of crime in the community.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP. Nnamdi Omoni, said the police were aware of the murder.
Omoni said the police were investigating issues surrounding the killing to unmask the identities of the assailants.
