A professor and an Executive Vice Chairman of Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Tunji Olaopa, has been appointed a member of the international advisory committee of the African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD).
CAFRAD is a pan-African intergovernmental organisation.
Olaopa, will serve as a member of the committee for a period of four years alongside other members from the United States, Canada, Spain, and Switzerland.
Others are the former President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bay Koroma; the former Head of State Ibrahim Babangida; and the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former President of Costa Rica, Dr. Oscar Arias Sanchez.
CAFRAD, a reputable pan-African inter-governmental organisation created in 1964 and headquartered in Tangier – Morocco, currently has a membership of 38 countries spanning the different geographical blocks on the African continent.
