A minimum of 167 Nigerians have been evacuated from South Africa by the Nigerian Authorities.
Minister of Overseas Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, confirmed this in a collection of tweets on Thursday.
He stated, “The evacuees who’re returning onboard AirPeace, are to first arrive on the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport earlier than continuing to Lagos.
“45 passengers will disembark in Abuja, and thereafter the airplane will go away for Murtala Muhammed Worldwide Airport, Ikeja, Lagos with 122 passengers.”
